Great Lakes Boer Goat Show

Yep, plans are underway for the 2010 show. It is slated for September 25 at the Manitowoc Expo Fairgrounds in Manitowoc, WI. Ladies—they’ll also be having a Women’s Expo happening at the same time on the grounds. So show goats in the morning and go shopping (and get a massage) in the afternoon! Our judge will be Anita Messer, the same judge WI State Fair had last year. This is a great, laid back show for first-time showers and for people who are just looking to show but want to avoid the cutthroat competition. Check us out!

A Little About Us

Greetings. We are a small farm located in northeastern Wisconsin, approximately 45 minutes south of Green Bay and 1.5 hours north of Milwaukee. Our animals are vaccinated once a year for CD&T. This is the only vaccination they receive. They are also wormed approximately four times a year. Ivomec (injection) is our choice of wormer.  We are a CAE, CL, and Soremouth free farm. We run a 30-50 doe herd (it fluctuates). Our commercial animals can be found as far north as Munising, MI and as far south as Mexico, as well as across the Midwest and on Washington Island.
