Planned Kiddings

December 2010

CSK Chickadee x Boulder— Chickadee is a black 3/4 Boer, 1/4 Angora out of black 1/2 Boer, CSK Black Pearl and red fullblood, CSK Merlot (Lil Red x Tubby). This will be her first freshening.

CSK Demeter x Boulder—Demeter is a registered red purebred Boer and a quintuplet, out of Lil Red (red) and Hackberry Hill Salsa (also red). Like her dam, Demeter is a heavy milker and an sensible mother.

January 2011

Silver x Boulder—Silver’s getting up in years and we never quite know when it’ll be her last breeding. She’s had 27 kids so far, including quads, and this last year happily served as a surrogate mommy when we lost a doe. We’re hoping for a doe out of this cross. I doubt any female offspring will be available for sale out of her. Since she’s 9 yrs old this year, we’re keeping all her kids.

CSK Quartz x CSK Griffon—Quartz is a 3/4 Boer daughter out of Silver and Salsa. She has a buff head and a white body. Like her dam, she’s a great mother, with a nice symmetrical and heavy-producing udder. Griffon is a registered red fullblood out of red animals, CSK Scarlet and CSK Merlot. We’re looking forward to kids out of this cross.

Jubilee x CSK Griffon—Jubilee is a traditional marked fullblood. She’s yet to freshen on our farm, but she’s a young stocky doe carrying very old bloodlines and we’re excited to have her. Griffon is a registered red fullblood out of red animals, CSK Scarlet and CSK Merlot. We lightly bred him in 2010 and he produced some very nice kids out of Tiger Lily.
