The frost is coming!

NPR just reported that we should expect wide-spread frost tonight. As soon as the storms clear (boy is it rumbling out now!), I'll be heading to the pumpkin patch with the ATV in 4 wheel drive (to combat the mud) and our multipurpose people/hay/pumpkin/animal hauling cart. We have room in the barn now to protect the pumpkins from the frost but first I have to get them in the barn. The goats still eat frost damaged pumpkins, but the frost makes the pumpkins rot and squishy to handle (blech). Rain rain go away. I feel like I've been saying that a lot lately.
