Hi!
Fall is a time to wind down on the farm. The goats are getting bred, the milking goats are drying up in preparation of having babies in January and February, the hay is in the barn, and the fields are fertilized. We use composted manure, not the liquid manure you often see injected into the ground so it doesn't smell. Our fields are upwind of us and there is nothing worse than having your fresh laundry smell like poo.
Soon we will have 2 new additions to the farm, two young Nubian doe sisters from Stardom Farm. They will be having their babies about the time we have our spring open house.
Our summer farm markets are almost over but our winter craft events are beginning. Watch our facebook page for open house dates.
